Formatting a Samsung cell phone is a simple process, but before doing so, be sure to back up your important data, as it will erase everything on the device.
📌 Method 1: From the Settings (Recommended).
- Open your phone’sSettings.
- Go to General Administration > Reset.
- Select Reset to Factory Defaults.
- Click on Reset and confirm with your password or pattern if prompted.
- The cell phone will reboot and will be as good as new.
📌 Method 2: With the physical buttons (If you cannot access the system).
- Turn off the cell phone completely.
- Press and hold the Volume Up + Power + Power + Bixby buttons (if your model has it) until the Samsung logo appears.
- In the recovery menu, use the volume buttons to navigate to Wipe data/factory reset and confirm with the power button.
- Select Yes and confirm.
- When finished, select Reboot system now and wait for it to restart.
After this, the cell phone will be as fresh from the factory. 🚀
